PGA Tour 2025 Fall Schedule eliminates Las Vegas tournament altogether
The PGA Tour released its 2025 FedEx Cup Fall schedule, and one notable tournament is notably absent.
The Shriners Children’s Open is no more.
For the first time in more than 40 years, the PGA Tour will not host an event in Las Vegas during its 2025 schedule. Shriners Children’s Hospitals ended its title sponsorship with the tour this past October, thus bringing a 17-year relationship to a close.
J.T. Poston won this past year’s event by one stroke over Doug Ghim in what will forever be the final edition of the Shriners Children’s Open.
It also marked the fourth event of this past year’s FedEx Cup Fall, which featured eight events, three of which took place in Japan, Mexico, and Bermuda. The Fall portion began with the Procore Championship in Napa and ended with the RSM Classic in Sea Island, Georgia.
Next year’s FedEx Cup Fall will be similar to this year’s, with the key difference being the elimination of the Shriners Children’s Open. Another notable change is that the ZOZO Championship held in Japan will now be known as the Baycurrent Classic due to sponsorship reasons. Yokohama Country Club will host this event for the first time. The course saw Seve Ballesteros win the 1978 Japan Open, one of his first professional victories. Ben Coore and Ben Crenshaw renovated the property in 2014 and 2015.
The 2025 FedEx Cup Fall schedule follows below:
