Off the Beaten Path: Canteen Coffee Co.

CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) - The minute you walk into Canteen Coffee Co. on Main Street in Cambridge, prepare to feel like you’ve walked into a Taylor Swift album, from the folklore era. Casey Face is the brains behind the business.

After starting at the farmers market, she eventually needed more space. Around the same time she transformed an antique horse trailer into a mobile business for events, the storefront on Main Street became available. 

“My worst fear is regret, rather than failure, so I talked to my husband about it. I talked to my family, and I said 'you know should we do this?' and just went for it and it’s been really lovely. I’m really glad I did,” said Face.

On the menu, you’ll find local baked goods, craft espresso drinks and lite bites for lunch. The food menu rotates weekly.

The café is open Wednesday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 3p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. It is located at 25 E Main Street in Cambridge, New York.

“I get really inspired by what the weather is like, what’s in season, what the farmers have to offer, so that's been a lot of fun and really great," she said. "Our customers really appreciate it.”
