Assam police apprehended five Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) members, foiling a significant terror plot. Four operatives were arrested in Kokrajhar, and one in Dhubri. This follows the recent apprehension and repatriation of a Bangladeshi national who illegally crossed the border, amidst heightened security along the India-Bangladesh border due to unrest in Bangladesh.
