Chilly today, warming up on Thursday
What We’re Tracking
- Chilly today
- Warming back up on Thursday
- Turning colder by late week
Another cold front has made its way through the area and that has dropped temperatures down into the upper 20s and lower 30s. It has also given us a gusty north wind from 10-20 mph, bringing wind chills down into the upper 10s and lower 20s.
Highs on Wednesday will only top out in the lower 40s, despite widespread sunshine by afternoon. There should be a bigger warm up ahead of our next, stronger cold front. Highs on Thursday should reach the middle 50s with a partly cloudy sky.
The cold front that moves through Thursday evening should bring the most noticeable cooling with gusty north breezes and temperatures into the 20s by Friday morning. Wind chills will be into the upper 0s and lower 10s for Friday morning and stay rather chilly all day long.
