Oliva Munn Puts on Nike Phoenix Waffle Sneakers for Casual NYC Outing With Her Mom

Olivia Munn and her mother Kim Munn coordinated in casual shoes while out and about in New York City on Wednesday afternoon.

For the meetup, Olivia chose a pair of the Nike sneakers, which consists of an upper that features a light cream base made with matching leather overlays, alongside the signature Nike Swoosh in a black color and cream overlays that are contrasted by white accents. The sneakers are rounded out by white laces and a rubber outsole that provides comfort while also giving adequate grip that makes for smooth walking and running on all types of surfaces.

As for her outfit, the actress kept the casual vibe going with loose dark blue track pants, and an oversized black jacket. Olivia’s mother, Kim, was spotted in a pair of brown slides as she walked around the city with her daughter. She completed her fit with a pair of black joggers, a great sweatshirt and a beanie.

Athletic shoes have become a staple amongst celebrities for their laidback outings and errands. Jennifer Garner, for example, has been regularly spotted in her favorite Brooks Glycerin 21 sneakers multiple times in the past several months. In June, she and her former husband Ben Affleck were pictured in Los Angeles during an outing that saw her wearing a colorful version of the shoe that featured a nifty neon design, recycled material in the upper and the brand’s DNA loft v3 cushioning for breathability and comfort.

During that same outing, Affleck was seen in a pair of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Reverse Mocha shoes that consisted of a brown base made of suede, ivory leather overlays and Travis Scott’s signature reversed Swoosh and cream overlays that featured brown accents. Those shoes were completed by the Cactus Jack and retro Wings logos on each of the heel tabs alongside cream laces.
