Manhattan chiropractor surrenders license after being found guilty of sexual battery

0

MANHATTAN (KSNT) - Kansas' licensing and regulatory board for healthcare providers announced a chiropractor based out of Manhattan has surrendered his license after he was found guilty of committing sexual battery against a patient.

The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) announced on Dec. 18 that Kenyon Erickson surrounded his license as a chiropractor this week. Erickson, who has been providing care as a chiropractor since 2001, lost his license following a one-day bench trial in Riley County on April 9 that found him guilty of one count of sexual battery.

KSBHA documents show Erickson began providing care to a patient in 2011. The patient arrived for an appointment with Erickson on April 14, 2022 where he was accused of touching the patient's genitalia without consent, violating the Kansas Healing Arts Act. Court records show Erickson was found guilty and sentenced to one year of house arrest.
