Chilly air tonight ahead of a nice warm-up for Thursday
What We’re Tracking
- Cold again tonight
- Warming back up on Thursday
- Turning colder by late week
Chilly air in place for tonight as a clear sky will allow temperatures to fall into the middle to upper 20s by Thursday morning.
There should be a bigger warm up ahead of our next, stronger cold front. Highs on Thursday should reach the middle 50s with a partly cloudy sky. Wind will turn to the southwest at 10-20mph through the day ahead of the front, which should arrive during the early evening hours.
The cold front that moves through Thursday evening should bring the most noticeable cooling for the week with gusty north breezes and temperatures into the lower 20s by Friday morning. Wind chills will be into the upper 0s and lower 10s for Friday morning and stay rather chilly all day long. Highs struggle back into the lower 30s Friday and near 40° on Saturday.
