Autism Society Greater Hudson Region celebrates 30 years
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- To celebrate 30 years of service, the Autism Society Greater Hudson Region (ASGHR) is hosting a gala on Saturday, December 28. The black-tie event will include speeches, awards, dancing, and a silent auction.
The gala is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will reflect on three decades of dedicated service and advocacy. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by the Community Partner and Dedication of Service awards presentation.
The recipient of the Community Partner Award is Bring on the Spectrum. Bring on the Spectrum is a non-profit community space and sensory-friendly gym that aims to provide opportunities for neurodivergent and neurotypical people. The Dedication to Service Award recipient is Mary Kavaney. Kavaney is a board member of ASGHR and provides life-saving swim lessons, mentorship, and more.
