Tennessee man arrested in connection to fatal stabbing in Manhattan: police
LOWER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) -- A man has been arrested in connection to a homicide that happened in New York City in November, police said.
Schichun Lin, 58, of Bristol, Tennessee, was taken into custody at 2:28 p.m. Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
The arrest was made in connection to a fatal stabbing near East Broadway and Pike Street in Manhattan on the morning of Nov. 7.
Police said 68-year-old Kan Shing Cheung was found with multiple stab wounds to his torso. Cheung was declared dead on the scene.
Police said Cheung was homeless.
Lin was charged with murder in the first and second degree, according to the NYPD.
