Because they have been on their arse for a long time. That's why they have been taken over. Being on their arse for X number or years doesn't change the fact that they are generally a huge club, but it doesn't make it a plum job in the context of football management either.

That was another argument you were found hopelessly wanting in, no point in trying to claw something back now.
