Stefano Malaguti elected President of the Italian Blind Baseball League
The clubs participating in the Italian Blind Baseball League (LIBCI) elected Stefano Malaguti as their new President. He replaced long-time President Alberto Mazzanti, who stepped down at the end of his most recent four-year term.
The new board will include Luis Colosi (Messina University), Danny Oliveri (Ciechi e Ipovedenti Varesini), Piergiuseppe Leonardo (Bologna) and Yeraldyn Patino Rivera (Roma All Blinds).
Born in 1944, Malaguti starred in the Italian Baseball League from 1962 to 1978, contributing to four league titles (1969, 1972, 1974 and 1978) and a European Champions Cup (1973). He represented Italy 11 times.
FIBS President Marco Mazzieri attended the LIBCI Assembly in Bologna.
