After I published my OEN article "Texas' War on Porn, and Robert Moore's Theory of the Archetypes of Maturity" on December 6, 2024, Matt Richtel published the article "It's Time to Talk About Pornography, Scholars Say" in The New York Times on December 12, 2024. In the present essay, I use his article as a springboard for discuss the ubiquitous mom-son porn on the internet, using C. G. Jung's work and Walter J. Ong's work.
