Chris “Moves in Silence” Antonetti joined 92.3 The Fan to discuss the trade and any potential moves during the remainder of the off-season. Antonetti gave his usual undetailed answers that didn’t commit to any further moves/extensions/signings. However, he did make it clear that they are taking into consideration keeping paths open for the players that are ready to make an impact this season.

Mandy Bell’s newsletter touched on the Guardians’ chances at signing Roki Sasaki. Mandy points out that Sasaki will be subject to international bonus pool money restrictions and likely will not sign with any team until January 15th at the earliest.
Fangraph’s Jeff Zimmerman consolidated some Q&A from the managers during the winter meetings. Manager Stephen Vogt spoke on Triston McKenzie, highlighting Triston’s successful off-season so far. Vogt also hopes that Triston will be able to earn his spot back in the Cleveland Guardians starting rotation.
Former Cleveland pitcher Logan S. Allen (not to be confused with current Cleveland pitcher Logan T. Allen) has signed with the NC Dinos and will be heading to Korea.
