Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed the Rajya Sabha that 593 EMU/MEMU coaches were manufactured until November 2024. He stated that all available MEMU coaches are currently being utilized for scheduled services. Coach production, including LHB, MEMU, and Vande Bharat, is planned based on traffic demands and production unit capacities.
