Patriots Draft Preview: Tight End Class Worthy Of Being Prioritized
The Patriots have obvious needs entering the 2025 NFL Draft.
NESN.com’s Keagan Stiefel has joined George Balekji and Travis Thomas on NESN’s “Foxboro Rush” podcast throughout the season to discuss them — because the on-field product isn’t worth paying attention to with this club.
New England has to address the offensive line, and we’ve discussed what that could mean by highlighting the top players available during the draft cycle. It’s also extremely likely the club will take a couple more cracks at upgrading its weapons, as well, with positions like wide receiver and running back already being highlighted.
It’s now time to talk tight ends.
Stiefel, Balekji and Thomas discussed some possible options Friday, and things got pretty heated as they argued between Penn State’s Tyler Warren and Bowling Green’s Harold Fannin Jr. being the best option in a rather loaded class.
The Patriots probably won’t be reaching that high, however, so the fellas dove deeper into players like Texas’ Gunnar Helm, Michigan’s Colston Loveland, Vanderbilt’s Eli Stowers, Georgia’s Oscar Delp and one extremely deep cut.
