BURLINGTON (KSNT) - Two teens were injured after a school bus crash in Burlington on Thursday.

At 7:38 a.m. on Thursday, the Burlington Police Department was called to a two-vehicle school bus crash at the intersection of Osborne and Martindale streets. According to police, a 17-year-old was driving east on Martindale Street and failed to yield to the bus that was traveling north on Osborne Street.

The Burlington USD 244 bus hit the front right of the 17-year-old's vehicle. According to police, the 17-year-old said she thought she had time to cross the intersection.

The 17-year-old and her passenger, a 19-year-old from Burlington, were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Police said the bus driver, another adult, and 18 children who were on the bus, were not injured.
