Marcone Honors Fallen Soldiers With Holiday Wreaths
Marcone, distributor of residential and commercial kitchen appliance, HVAC, plumbing, and pool/spa parts and equipment, recently honored fallen soldiers by placing holiday wreaths on their gravesites.
As part of a nationwide initiative, Marcone employees were among more than two million volunteers taking part in Wreaths Across America, which saw wreaths placed at more than 4,600 cemeteries across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and abroad. Marcone purchased 1,500 wreaths, which were individually placed on tombstones by employees and family members at cemeteries across the country.
Marcone teams arranged for wreaths to be placed at:
- Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri
- Memorial Park Cemetery, Tampa, Florida
- Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida
- State Veterans Cemetery, Middleton, Connecticut
- New Albany National Cemetery, New Albany, Indiana
“Our communities owe an immeasurable debt to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom,” said Asterios Satrazemis, Chief Executive Officer of Marcone. “Taking time during the holiday season to honor and remember these heroes is a small but meaningful way to express our gratitude and ensure their legacy is never forgotten.”
