Vaibhav Suryavanshi creates HISTORY: Youngest player to reach THIS massive Milestone
That time when Vaibhav Suryavanshi played for Bihar in the opening match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Madhya Pradesh on December 21, he scripted his name in the books of history. Since his debut in domestic cricket, Vaibhav has continuously been breaking records, and has broken yet another record in Indian cricket.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the youngest Indian player to have participated in List A cricket as of now. He broke Ali Akbar’s record as he is currently 13 years and 269 days old. In the 1999-2000 season, Ali made his debut in List A cricket at the age of 14 years and 51 days.
Vaibhav is currently the youngest Indian who has represented India at the U-19 level and compete in the Ranji Trophy and List A cricket match. He has also created history as he became the youngest player to have been taken by an Indian premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR), with an amount of Rs. 1.10 crore in the 2025 IPL mega-auction.
If Vaibhav goes on to play for Rajasthan Royals in the 2025 edition of the IPL, he will also become the youngest player to have ever made a debut in the history of the tournament till now.
