The Jammu and Kashmir government is planning to raise the disability pension from Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000 per month. Health Minister Sakina Itoo stated the increase aims to ease the financial strain on families caring for disabled members. Itoo made the announcement while distributing assistive devices at a camp and praised community efforts in supporting the disabled.
