Marvin and Rochelle Humes holiday-shamed as pair go on 12th trip of the year – fans ask ‘why can’t you stay at home?’
FANS have questioned the size of Marvin and Rochelle Humes carbon footprint- for taking their family on their 12th holiday in 12 months.
Posting on Instagram, presenter Rochelle shared a series of snaps from their latest sunny getaway to Dubai, including her JLS star husband on the beach with two of their three children.
Before telling her followers: “Our unconventional Christmas has begun.”
But some took issue with the pair’s seemingly perenially globe-trotting antics, with one person asking why moving into their new £5 million home, wasn’t enough to keep them in the UK?
They said: “Do you go away every year? I thought after building your lovely home you would of wanted to stay at home.”
To which Rochelle responded by saying that once renovations are completed at the property, a new build which they knocked down and rebuilt, they might be more inclined to make the most of it.
She replied: “Once it’s ready that might be a different story.”
This is the former Saturdays’ singer and JLS star’s 12th trip of the year and follows hot on the heels of holidays to Paris this month, and in September.
They also took a vacation to Spain in August, the same month they visited Ibiza.
In July they were in Italy, in Lake Como to be prescise and a month prior to that were in Paris again.
In May it was another trip to France, this time to Cannes which swiftly followed a holiday in the Maldives just a month prior.
In March they were in Miami, Florida, and in February posted snaps from Dubai.
And in January 2024 they were in The Maldives once again, with Rochelle posting a snap from a sun-kissed beach.
Marvin, 39, and 35-year-old Rochelle, started dating in 2010 and got married two years later.
They share daughters Alaia-Mai, 11, Valentina, seven, as well as son Blake, three.
Rochelle, who was one of the hosts on this year’s BBC Children In Need has previously admitted to flying to a specialist salon once a year in Dubai.
She said that she takes the 3,000 mile trip, just to get her eyebrows done.
