Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited Parbhani, Maharashtra. He met the family of Somnath Suryavanshi, who died in custody after violence erupted over the desecration of a Constitution replica. Gandhi alleged Suryavanshi was killed for being a Dalit defending the Constitution. He accused the police of murder and the Chief Minister of lying.
