One person seriously injured after NW OKC hit-and-run

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City Police responded to a three-car accident near NW 10th Street and Vermont Avenue on Monday night.
The eastbound lanes of NW 10th are currently closed between Vermont and Meridian due to the wreck. Drivers are advised to find an alternate route or expect significant delays.
Police say three cars rear-ended each other, and a person in one of the cars got out to check the damage. One of the drivers then tried to leave the scene of the crash and reportedly hit the person checking the damage.
The person hit by the car was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
According to police, the hit-and-run suspect drove away westbound down NW 10th following the incident.
