Antlers man arrested after child abuse investigation

ANTLERS, Okla. (KFOR) - A man has been arrested following a child abuse investigation in Antlers.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the Antlers Police Department requested the bureau's help with the investigation on November 13, 2024.
Officials say a comprehensive investigation was given to the Pushmataha County District Attorney's Office, who later filed multiple Child Sex Abuse charges against 50-year-old George Allen Pate Jr.
An arrest warrant was issued for Pate on December 13, 2024. He later turned himself in to the Pushmataha County Sheriff's Office and was booked into the Pushmataha County Jail.
