CDTA announces Christmas, New Year's service schedule
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced its 2024 holiday service schedules for Christmas and New Year's Day. On both days, CDTA will operate on a Sunday schedule.
There will be no Northway Xpress or Thruway Xpress commuter services on both holidays. The CDTA Sales window will also be closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
Free rides will also be available on New Year's Eve to help with STOP DWI efforts. Starting at 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve, December 31, service will be free of charge until 2 a.m.
Anyone with questions about the holiday services can call DTA's Customer Service Center at (518) 482-8822. The customer service representatives are available from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.
