Man hospitalized after early Christmas Eve stabbing
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A man was hospitalized after a stabbing early Tuesday morning at a home near Lewis & Clark College, authorities said.
According to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, deputies, as well as officers from Lake Oswego Police Department, were called to a home on South Collina Street after an emergency call about a stabbing.
Responding officers said they found a teenage suspect outside of the home and took him into custody and also transported a man with non-life-threatening injuries to a nearby hospital.
Police said that the man and the suspect are related.
The teenager is being charged with first-degree assault and will be taken to the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Facility.
The incident remains under investigation and no other information has been released yet.
