NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Some subway trains are delayed at New York Penn Station after a man was struck by a train Thursday, according to the MTA.

Nos. 2 and 3 trains are delayed while emergency teams respond to the scene, officials said.

Southbound Nos. 2 and 3 trains ran from 34th Street-Penn Station to Chambers Street on the local track. MTA officials also told straphangers to expect delays on the No. 1 train.

Northbound Nos. 2 and 3 trains were running on the local track from Chambers Street to 96th Street. Some northbound No. 2 trains were running on the No. 5 line via Nevins Street to 149th Street–Grand Concourse.

The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. The incident does not appear to be criminal in nature, according to the NYPD.
