Doctors at Banaras Hindu University performed a successful 10-hour surgery on a 10-year-old with Wilms' tumour reaching the heart. The boy is recovering and will continue chemotherapy. The surgery involved a multidisciplinary team and cost only Rs. 25,000 at BHU, compared to Rs. 5 lakh in private hospitals. This highlights the importance of collaborative medical efforts.
