Another gloomy day Friday with dense fog early and showers possible midday
What We’re Tracking
- Dense fog and drizzle again Friday
- Nice weekend ahead
- Cold start into 2025
A DENSE FOG ADVISORY is in effect for the entire viewing area until noon Friday. Visibility may be reduced to 1/4 mile or less at times. It's possible we see patchy dense fog again early Saturday. Be sure to give yourself some extra time to get where you need to go this morning and take it slower out on the roadways.
Fog and misty conditions continue throughout much of our Friday, with even a few showers moving in later this morning and into the early afternoon. Highs will warm up a little more with temperatures climbing into the lower 50s.
Clouds should start to clear out later this evening and see a lot more sunshine for Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will continue to warm up into the middle to upper 50s throughout the weekend.
The mild air sticks around for Monday, but we get a front to move in late Monday into Tuesday that will bring in colder air to ring in the new year. There's also a chance we get some showers and even a few snowflakes early Tuesday.
Anticipate a cold start to 2025 with highs struggling to get out of the upper 30s through the end of next week.
