'Where are you?' Trump posts cryptic Mar-a-Lago invite to unnamed recipient
Donald Trump posted an inscrutable message on Truth Social that seems like it may have been intended as a direct message.
The president-elect posted a short congratulatory message Friday morning directed at Fox News broadcasters Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt on their engagement, which he signed with his initials, and he followed up a short time later with a similarly constructed message, but the subject is not clear.
"Where are you?" Trump posted. "When are you coming to the 'Center of the Universe,' Mar-a-Lago. Bill Gates asked to come, tonight. We miss you and x! New Year’s Eve is going to be AMAZING!!! DJT"

It seems possible the message was aimed at tech billionaire Elon Musk, who has been a frequent present at Mar-a-Lago since the election, along with his 4-year-old son, whose name is X, but it's not clear exactly who Trump was targeting with his invitation.
"That looks like he text that he accidentally posted as a tweet/'truth', no? lol," posted former Trump adviser A.J. Delgado.
Musk is currently embroiled in an online clash with right-wing influencer Laura Loomer and other MAGA backers who are angry over his support for H-1B visas his companies rely on for skilled foreign workers, but some of Trump's anti-immigrant base say that violates his campaign promises.
The Tesla CEO has emerged as a top Trump adviser since donating nearly $300 million to his re-election campaign, and Trump has tapped him and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the Department of Government Efficiency advisory board to slash $2 trillion from the federal budget, but MAGA adherents have turned on both over the immigration flap.
"The elephant in the room is that Elon Musk, who is not MAGA and never has been, is a total f------ drag on the Trump transition," Loomer posted on X. "He's a stage 5 clinger who over stayed his welcome at Mar-a-Lago in an effort to... be the point man for all his accomplices in big Tech to slither in."
