Teoscar Hernández Agrees To Three-Year Deal With Dodgers
Outfielder Teoscar Hernández and the Los Angeles Dodgers are in agreement on a three-year, $66 million dollar contract as per Yancen Pujols. Hernández shortly after the news broke posted a story on Instagram stating “I’m back”. Jeff Passan reported the contract specifics that include a fourth-year option worth $15 million dollars, approximately $23 million dollars in deferrals, and a $23 million dollar signing bonus.

Hernández, 32, is coming off of an outstanding 2024 campaign that saw him earn his second All-Star game appearance and third Silver Slugger award behind a .272/.339/.501 slashline with 33 home runs, 99 RBI, and 12 stolen bases. He was an important part of the 2024 Dodgers team that won the World Series and provided them with a big right-handed power threat to go along with the left-handed Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman. This contract ensures Hernández will be with the Dodgers until at least the 2028 season.
The Mets were rumored to be interested in him, but it always seemed as if the Dodgers were frontrunners to retain the services of their slugging outfielder.
