An eight-year-old student from Gayatri International School in Mahisagar district lost an eye when a lithium-ion battery in his school-provided robotics kit exploded. The incident occurred while the boy was working with the kit at home. The child was rushed to Ahmedabad for treatment, where doctors confirmed the loss of his eye.
