From live music to fireworks: 10 New Year’s Eve parties to count down to 2025
MANILA, Philippines – 2024 has been eventful in many aspects. With the year coming to a close, why not fill the last few hours of your 2024 with live music, fireworks, good food, and great company?
Around Metro Manila, there are a handful of events — both free and paid — that you can attend to ring in the new year; all you have to do is take your pick. Check out this list to help you decide!
Free events
Bridgetowne
Bridgetowne Destination Estate is welcoming the new year with “Bridgetowne Countdown to 2025: Where Winners Celebrate,” which will feature performances by OPM icons Orange & Lemons, Sponge Cola, Yeng Constantino, and Janine Berdin, and a DJ set by Jimmy Nocon. Alongside the live music by Filipino artists, there will also be a fireworks display once the clock strikes 12.
Hosted by content creator Macoy Dubs and beauty queen MJ Lastimosa, the free-entry event will be held at the Bridgetowne Open Grounds in Pasig City, on December 31, from 9 pm onwards.
Quezon City
Quezon City will be hosting a 2025 countdown concert of its own, with performances by a loaded roster of OPM acts, such as Ely Buendia, Kamikazee, Gloc-9, Ben&Ben, Kean Cipriano, mrld, Kenaniah, Ryannah J, The Juans, Noel Palomo of Siakol with Repakol Band, and Shamrock. Attendees can also look forward to a fireworks display.
The free event officially kicks off at 5 pm, December 31, at the Quezon Memorial Circle. Free shuttle services via the Q City Bus will be provided to attendees going to and from the venue, with a total of eight routes available:
- Route 1: Quezon City Hall to Cubao and vice versa
- Route 2: Quezon City Hall to Litex/IBP Road and vice versa
- Route 3: Welcome Rotonda to Aurora Boulevard and vice versa
- Route 4: Quezon City Hall to General Luis and vice versa
- Route 5: Quezon City Hall to Mindanao Avenue via Visayas Avenue and vice versa
- Route 6: Quezon City Hall to Gilmore and vice versa
- Route 7: Quezon City Hall to C5/Ortigas Ave. extension and vice versa
- Route 8: Quezon City Hall to Muñoz and vice versa

NYE at the 5th (BGC)
Bonfiacio Global City (BGC) is bringing OPM, K-pop, and English electro-pop together at this year’s iteration of “NYE at the 5th.” At this concert, OPM singers Rico Blanco, Sarah Geronimo, and juan karlos, British duo HONNE, and K-pop girl group ITZY will be sharing the stage in the hours leading up to 2025. There will also be a fireworks display.
“NYE at the 5th” is free on a first come, first served basis, and will be held along 5th Avenue at BGC from 8 pm onwards on December 31. Gates open at 7:30 pm.
Eastwood-Quezon City
It’s OPM galore as well at Eastwood-Quezon City’s new year’s countdown, with performances by Barbie Almalbis, KZ Tandingan, TJ Monterde, KZ Tandingan, Dionela, Janine Teñoso, and P-pop group DIONE.
Other than the concert, there will be a Dazzling Star Drop and a Grand Fireworks Display at 12 midnight on January 1, 2025. The free event will be held on December 31 at the Eastwood Mall Open Park from 8 pm onwards.
NYE Kapuso Countdown to 2025 (MOA)
In partnership with SM Mall of Asia (MOA), GMA is holding its “NYE Kapuso Countdown to 2025” featuring performances of many of their own artists, including Christian Bautista, Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Ruru Madrid, Kyline Alcantara, and Zephanie, among others.
There will also be special guest performers: P-pop boy group SB19 and five-member P-pop girl group KAIA.
“NYE Kapuso Countdown to 2025” will be held along Seaside Boulevard around MOA in Pasay City on December 31, from 8:30 pm onwards.
Radiating on Top (Makati)
At Ayala Avenue, Makati’s new year countdown, “Radiating on Top,” it’s OPM meets Philippine theater meets drag.
Held at the intersection of Ayala Avenue and Makati Avenue in Makati City on December 31, the concert will feature performances by BINI, Gary Valenciano, Gloc-9, Bamboo, Lola Amour, drag queen Marina Summers, and the casts of the musicals Going Home to Christmas, Buruguduystunstugudunstuy, Pingkian: Isang Musikal, and Jepoy & the Magic Circle.
There will also be street party beats by DJs Brian Cua and Mike Lavarez.
The event is free entry for general admission, but paid tickets are also available via TicketWorld and will come with different perks. Limited VIP tickets (free seating) will come with both dinner and cocktails, while mosh pit tickets (standing) will only come with cocktails.
Gates and food booths will open as early as 12 pm, but the program will officially start at 6 pm.
Paid events
City of Dreams Manila
City of Dreams Manila has three new year countdown events to choose from within the complex on December 31: “New Year’s Eve Countdown at The Grand Ballroom,” “Countdown at CenterPlay,” and “New Year’s Eve Countdown with a Festive Menu at The Café.”
The first event, held at the Grand Ballroom, is for those who enjoy live band performances. Soulmates will open the set at 8:30 pm, followed by acoustic band MYMP at 10:30 pm. Gigi De Lana and Gigi Vibes Band will then take the stage at 11:20 pm and will lead the countdown to 2025.
There will be a special buffet menu, complete with slow-cooked steamship beef roast, lechon pork belly roll, and other meats and fish for the entrees, a spread of cheese and cold cuts, and bibingka and a chocolate fountain, among others, for dessert. There will also be an unlimited open bar.
Tickets to the countdown at the Grand Ballroom are priced at P8,000 (silver) and P10,000 (gold), with special rate offerings at P60,000 (silver) and P80,000 (gold) when booking a table for 10.
Meanwhile, contemporary entertainment bar CenterPlay will mount performances by Eye Candies, Part 3 Band, and Zyncxation Band, alongside a media noche platter consisting of kinilaw na tanigue, chicharon bulaklak, crispy lechon pork belly, kwek-kwek, and sapin-sapin. Tickets range from P2,500 for single seating to P20,000 for a table of eight people.
The last event will be held at The Café in Hyatt Regency Manila. The package worth P3,999 will include a buffet dinner from 8:30 pm to 11 pm, and will feature performances by Alley Cats Band and a DJ from 9:30 pm until midnight.
Solaire North
If you missed Ne-Yo’s Manila concert in October, this is your chance to catch him live! Solaire Resort North is hosting a new year countdown headlined by American R&B icon Ne-Yo, alongside P-pop group BGYO, US hip-hop dance crew Jabbawockeez, South Korea’s DJ Soda, the dancers of Beast House, and Japanese dance group Avantgardey.
The countdown will be held at the Solaire Grand Ballroom in Solaire Resort North in Quezon City from 9:30 pm onwards. Guests can then head to the Skybar to watch the fireworks and dance to beats by DJ Mars Miranda and KATDJ.

Bright Beginnings to 2025 (Okada)
Similar to City of Dreams Manila, Okada Manila in Parañaque City also planned three countdown events that guests can choose from.
In “A Night of Stars” at the Grand Ballroom, OPM stars and celebrities Lani Misalucha, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Christian Bautista, Daiana Menezes, DJ Cammy V, and Mitoy Yonting and the Draybers will be taking the stage in the hours leading up to the new year. From 7 pm onwards, guests can enjoy their dinner and drinks along with live music. Ticket prices start at P12,000.
Meanwhile, in “Symphony of Lights” at The Fountain, Darren Espanto, Jona, New Flame, and Patricia Reyes will be handling the live music as guests welcome the new year. Entry into this event is free. Doors open at 8 pm.
Lastly, from 9 pm onwards, DJ Quintino, DJ Phillip Japor, DJ Xiao Yunnah, DJ Arra Gunio, and MC Smurff will provide the live beats and music at The Cove. Ticket prices start at P1,500. Entry is limited to individuals 18 years of age and above.
There will also be a free-admission fireworks display at The Garden.
The Grand Countdown to 2025 (Newport World Resorts)
The Marriott Grand Ballroom at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Newport World Resorts, Pasay City is hosting “The Grand Countdown to 2025,” featuring performances by Angeline Quinto, Jed Madela, Bamboo, and BINI.
The countdown event will start at 7:30 pm on December 31, and promises a “gourmet feast” and “unlimited premium beverages” alongside the concert. Tickets are priced from P3,500 (Kids’ Zone) to P25,000 (SVIP), and may be purchased by calling (02) 7908 8888 or emailing info@fhtcentertainment.com.
