Turkey arrests 12 illegal migrants in Kirklareli province

According to reports, Turkish security forces have detained 12 illegal migrants in the Kırklareli province of Turkey.

Anadolu Agency reported on Saturday, December 28, that these individuals were arrested by Turkish police as part of the country’s efforts to combat illegal immigration.

The report further stated: “After going through legal procedures, these individuals were transferred to the foreign nationals’ repatriation center in Pehlivanköy.”

This comes just days after Turkish security forces had arrested 132 illegal migrants in the same Kırklareli province on December 18.

Turkey continues to take significant measures to address the growing issue of illegal migration, especially along its borders with neighboring countries. The detention of these 12 migrants is part of a broader strategy to manage and control immigration while ensuring national security.
