Lee Kindlon to be sworn in as Albany County DA
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Albany County is swearing in a new county district attorney on Monday. Lee Kindlon's swearing-in ceremony is at the Harold Joyce Albany County Office Building on State Street.
Several Albany County officials will participate in the ceremony. The Honorable Elizabeth Garry will swear in Kindlon, and Elijah Missionary Baptist Church's Bishop Avery Comithier will deliver the invocation.
Kindlon won 65% of the vote, beating Republican Ralph Ambrosio and incumbent David Soares. A top issue for Kindlon is bail reform.
