Friday shopper numbers bounce back after Boxing Day footfall disappoints

​Footfall figures had already suggested the hoped-for pre-Christmas rush happened but wasn’t as frantic as hoped and now more data shows a hugely disappointing Boxing Day but surprising a bounce on Friday.
