Man dies after shooting, 2 others injured Sunday night in Lakewood
A man died and two other people were injured after a shooting Sunday night, Dec. 29, in Lakewood.
Deputies responded around 8:15 p.m. after multiple calls about shots fired in the 20600 block of Alburtis Avenue, west of Pioneer Boulevard and south of Del Amo Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other victims were taken to hospitals, Lt. A. Guillen said. The conditions of the wounded victims was not available.
The investigation is ongoing, and officials didn’t immediately have additional information.
