EAMONN Holmes is ‘praying’ 2025 will be kind to him following his break up with Ruth Langsford.
The TV presenter had a difficult year following the breakdown of his 14-year marriage.
He also split from his ‘TV wife’ on GB News, Isabel Webster, days before Christmas.
Revealing he’d struggle to get into the Christmas spirit this year, Eamonn told fans what had changed his mind.
“Now here’s a really good one. Just finished watching Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick in Deck The Halls on @ITVX.
“I’m at last full of Christmas Cheer!!!
“A new favourite for my list.”
It prompted replies from fans who asked him to confirm when he’s back on GB News – without Isabel.
He wrote back: “Monday, January 6.”
Another follower commented: “Great film. Hope 2025 will be kind to you!”
Eamonn replied with three ‘prayer’ emojis.
It comes after the 65-year-old was blindsided by his 42-year-old co-host’s axe when negotiation talks broke down a week before Christmas.
They had just finished their final show of the year and had plans to celebrate Christmas with their breakfast team.
However, Isabel’s exit was announced and she was immediately replaced by up-and-coming talent Ellie Costello.
Eamonn went on to spent Christmas Day with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander and met her loved ones for the first time.
It was the presenter’s first trip to the property, which Katie, 43, organised work to be carried out on for the arrival of wheelchair user Eamonn, 65.
The Sun revealed Eamonn spent a few days in Yorkshire before returning to his own place in South West London.
A source said: “Eamonn headed to Katie’s home for Christmas to show just how loved-up he really is.
“It was a 4½-hour drive from his bachelor pad in London. He’s met Katie’s two younger children before, but turning up at their home was still nerve-racking.”
