Women are prohibited from working in certain industries which are deemed "dangerous" such as glass industry, fat and oil extraction industry and pesticide industry. These prohibitions mean that a woman's monthly income may be 12% to 21% lower as she has to opt for the likes of less paying food processing, paper and bead industry.
