Woman pulled from lake at 31st Street Beach in critical condition
A 48-year-old woman who was pulled from the waters of Lake Michigan at 31st Street Beach Monday was listed in critical condition, officials said.
The woman jumped in the water about 11 a.m. in the 700 block of East 31st Street and firefighters pulled her out, police said.
Paramedics took her to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
No other information was given; Area 3 detectives are investigating.
