Mostly cloudy, breezy night with a few light rain/snow showers
What We’re Tracking
- Light mix possible tonight
- Chilly breeze on Tuesday
- Snow potential for the weekend
More showers tonight with a light rain/snow mix possible, especially to the north. Although some snowflakes may fall, temperatures should be in the middle 30s at the time so we do not expect accumulation from this passing system.
Overnight and into Tuesday it will become cooler and breezy. Highs only in the upper 30s on Tuesday with gusty northwest wind 10-20mph, yielding wind chills in the 20s most of the day.
We anticipate a cold start to 2025 with highs struggling to get out of the upper 30s into the lower 40s before a stronger push of cold air moves in late in the week. By the weekend, a winter storm looks to be brewing for the area. Ultimately, the path of the low will dictate just how much of the precipitation will fall as snow in our are, but the storm bears watching as it will bring the potential for accumulating snowfall if the path remains favorable.
