Watch Times Square ball drop in NYC on New Year's Eve
TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan (PIX11) – New York City’s iconic New Year’s Eve ball drop in Times Square will usher in 2025 on Tuesday night.
Revelers in New York City and around the world will watch as the iconic ball descends from One Times Square while the clock approaches midnight.
Jonathan Bennett and Jeremy Hassell will co-host the Times Square Alliance NYE celebration. The event will feature live performances by Mark Ambor, Mickey Guyton, Rita Ora, Carrie Underwood, the Jonas Brothers, Megan Moroney, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, TLC and more.
The six-hour celebration will kick off at 6 p.m. with the lighting and raising of the ball atop One Times Square.
One minute before midnight, the ball will begin its 60-second drop down the pole to ring in the start of 2025.
