'Sounds like treason': MAGA attorney tells ex-Trump General Mark Milley to 'lawyer up'
A MAGA attorney who has threatened numerous foes of President-elect Donald Trump in recent months turned his gaze onto Gen. Mark Milley on Monday night — suggesting the former Trump administration official committed treason.
Milley, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Trump administration, said in 2021that he was not trying to "usurp authority" when he told Chinese officials he would warn them if the U.S. under Trump decided to attack.
"The calls on 30 October and 8 January were coordinated before and after with Secretary [Mark] Esper and acting Secretary [Chris] Miller’s staffs and the interagency," Milley said, according to NBC News.
"My task at that time was to de-escalate," he said.

Milley reportedly called Gen. Li Zuocheng of China's People’s Liberation Army to ensure they knew America had no plans to attack China. The calls were reported by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa.
