Kano assembly passes N719.7bn 2025 budget

The Kano State House of Assembly on Tuesday passed the 2025 Appropriation Bill into law, approving a budget of ₦719,755,417,663. The budget, titled Budget of Hope, Human Capital, and Economic Development, received legislative approval following a rowdy session. It prioritizes education, healthcare, infrastructure, water and rural development, security, poverty reduction, agriculture, and economic development. The
