After 40 years, 377 tons of hazardous waste from the Bhopal gas tragedy site have been transported from the Union Carbide factory in Bhopal to Pithampur for disposal. Authorities created a green corridor for the transport, while precautions and monitoring processes were implemented to ensure safe incineration and environmental protection.
