India's renewable energy (RE) capacity addition could surpass 35 GW in 2025 due to a strong project pipeline and an increase in wind manufacturing capacity. However, faster expansion is needed to meet the 2030 target of 500 GW, requiring an average annual addition of over 60 GW.
