Wilsonville police investigate 'suspicious' death of woman found in RV
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Police are conducting an investigation and seeking tips from the public after a woman in Wilsonville was found dead inside an RV on Tuesday, authorities said.
According to the Wilsonville Police Department, officers responded at 7:12 p.m. to a medical call near Southwest Nike Drive and Southwest Boones Ferry Road. The person who called 911 said they discovered an unresponsive woman inside a parked RV.
Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue also responded to the call, determining on arrival that the woman had died.
"Based on the circumstances, the death was considered suspicious, and Clackamas County Sheriff's Office detectives were called to assist in the investigation," the Wilsonville police said in a press release via the sheriff's office. "Investigators are working to identify the woman, and the Clackamas County Medical Examiner's Office is also assisting in the investigation."
