Man stabbed in the back on NYC subway: NYPD
NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – A man was stabbed in the back on a northbound No. 2 train Wednesday morning, police said.
The 31-year-old was stabbed around 9:45 a.m. near the 14th Street station, authorities said. He was rushed to an area hospital in stable condition, police said.
Farther uptown, a 30-year-old was stabbed on a No. 1 train platform around 9:26 a.m. at the 110th Street-Cathedral Parkway Station, police said. He was stabbed in the head, arms and hips and taken to an area hospital in stable condition, police said.
Police have not made any arrests in either incident.
The stabbings come a day after a man was pushed onto the subway tracks in front of an oncoming train at the 18th Street station in Manhattan, according to police.
