New CFO of Austria Post

 Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner was appointed the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Österreichische Post AG on 1 January 2025.

Born in Styria, she had previously been CFO of the paper and pulp group Heinzel Group since 2017. She is also still Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the listed Euro Telesites AG. Within Österreichische Post AG, she is now taking over the agendas of Walter Oblin, who previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer. Walter Oblin has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Management and Chief Executive Officer of the company as of October 1, 2024.

Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner’s Executive Board responsibilities include responsibilities for all finance functions as well as Group Real Estate, Group IT & Purchasing and Group Legal and thus essential management and service functions. At bank99, she will take on an active role on the Supervisory Board with a focus on the finance and IT agendas.

The Management Board team of Austrian Post will be complete with Walter Oblin, Chief Executive Officer, Peter Umundum, Deputy CEO and Member of the Management Board for Parcel & Logistics, and Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner, Member of the Management Board responsible for Finance, as of January 1, 2025.
