The French and German foreign ministers on Friday are du to meet Syria's de facto leader Ahmed Al-Sharaa, in the highest-level visit by major Western powers under the new authorities in Damascus."The general feeling that the sooner the Western nations get involved in what's going on in Syria, the better it will be not only for Western nations but also for the leaders of Syria and also for Syrian people" says FRANCE 24's International affairs editor, Philip Turle.
