Vermilion Sheriff: Man arrested on numerous drug charges

VERMILION PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- A 36-year-old man is facing numerous charges in connection with alleged narcotics-related offenses in the parish, according to the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office.
In a news release on Friday, Sheriff Eddie Langlinais announced the arrest of Kelsey Braxton.
Braxton faces the following charges:
- Possession with intent to distribute MDMA
- Possession with intent to distribute fentanyl
- Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Possession with intent to distribute cocaine
- Possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine
- Possession with intent to distribute alprazolam
- Possession with intent to distribute adderall
- Possession with intent to distribute promethazine
- Possession with intent to distribute oxycodone
- possession of eqipsoise
- possession of legend drug methocarbomol
- possession of drug paraphernalia
- felon in possession of a firearm
- possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
- three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile
- possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone (South Louisiana Community College)
The sheriff's office said they searched a home and vehicles in the 300 block of Graceland Avenue as a continuation of the investigation. There, authorities said they found "a large amount of crack cocaine" near a digital scale, powder cocaine, MDMA and an assortment of other suspected drugs.
Investigators said they also found a handgun and three magazines inside the residence.
